At Stayzee, your privacy matters. We built Stayzee to make hotel travel simpler, safer and more
organised—not to collect unnecessary personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the
choices you have.
1. WHO WE ARE
Stayzee is a hotel stay management application that helps travellers organise bookings, manage
hotel stays, store travel information and simplify the travel experience.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account Information
• Username
• Email address
• Password (or authentication via Apple or Google)
• Authentication provider
• Unique account identifier
Guest users can browse parts of the app without creating an account. An account is only required
when adding your first hotel stay.
Hotel Stay Information
• Hotel name
• Hotel address
• Hotel phone number
• Hotel email address
• Hotel website
• Check-in and check-out dates
• Number of nights
• Number of guests
• Booking reference
• Booking provider
• Room type
• Rate and currency
• Personal notes
• Tags
• Favourite hotels
• Custom reminders
Booking Email Imports
If you choose to forward a booking confirmation to bookings@stayzee.app, we will process the
email to extract booking details and create your hotel stay automatically.If processing succeeds, the original email is deleted.
If processing fails, the email may be retained securely for a short period (normally no longer than 24
hours) to allow processing to be retried before it is permanently deleted.
Photos and Attachments
You may upload photos, booking confirmations and other travel-related documents.
These files are:
• Stored securely in Stayzee’s cloud storage
• Linked only to your account
• Encrypted where supported by the underlying platform
• Deleted when you remove them or delete your account
Stayzee does not analyse the contents of uploaded files except where necessary to provide the
feature you have requested.
Location Information
Location services are optional.
If you choose to enable them, Stayzee may use your location to:
• Automatically recognise when you arrive at your hotel
• Update your stay status within Stayzee
• Calculate the distance between your saved Home location and your hotel
Your Home location is selected and controlled by you. You can update or remove it at any time.
Stayzee does not share your Home location with hotels or other users.
Device Permissions
Depending on the features you choose to use, Stayzee may request permission to access:
• Location
• Camera
• Photo Library
• Notifications
• Calendar
These permissions are optional and are requested only when required for the feature you choose to
use.
Stayzee does not request access to:
• Contacts
• Microphone
• Bluetooth
• Motion & Fitness
Diagnostics
To improve reliability, Stayzee may collect diagnostic information such as:
• Crash reports
• Device model
• Operating system version
• App version
• Technical error information
This information is used solely to identify and fix software issues.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to:
• Create and manage your account
• Organise your hotel stays
• Import booking information• Store your travel documents
• Enable optional location-based features
• Send important service notifications
• Provide customer support
• Improve the stability and performance of Stayzee
• Verify your subscription status
We do not sell your personal information.
4. MARKETING
Stayzee does not send marketing emails.
We may send essential service communications, including:
• Account verification
• Password resets
• Security notifications
• Subscription and billing information
• Important changes to the service or this Privacy Policy
5. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION
We only share information where necessary to operate the service with trusted providers such as
cloud hosting providers, Apple and Google authentication providers, Apple App Store, Google Play,
crash reporting providers and email service providers. These providers process information on our
behalf and are required to protect it appropriately.
If you enable Email Lookup in the app’s settings, other users who have your email address may find your
account and send you a buddy request. Your data is not shared until you accept a request.
Only after accepting this request, the following is shared with that user:
• Username
• Email address
• Profile photo
• Upcoming and shared trips
• Travel statistics (trip count, nights traveled, and most-visited destination).
You can disable this at any time in the app via Settings -> Privacy.
Until email lookup is enabled, your account cannot be found via email search, and other users
will not be informed about the existence of your account.
6. PAYMENTS
Stayzee offers both a free plan and Stayzee Pro.
All subscription payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play.
Stayzee does not collect, process or store your credit or debit card details.
7. DATA SECURITY
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to help protect your information from
unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss.
While no online service can guarantee absolute security, protecting your information is an important
part of how Stayzee is designed.
8. DATA RETENTION
We keep your information only for as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal
obligations.
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information unless we
are legally required to retain certain records, such as subscription or financial information.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Receive a copy of your data where applicable

10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Stayzee is intended for a general audience but is not designed for children.We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where prohibited by applicable law.
If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take appropriate steps to
remove it.
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Where changes are significant, we will notify users through the app or by other appropriate means.
The latest version will always be available within the app and on our website.
